This is a list of initial items for Redef Arena when in it’s early stages, we plan to have a lot more than this eventually, keep in mind that all items are used by the dual wielding system.

Control schemes:
Guns:
- Primary action: Pull trigger
- Secondary action: Aim down sights
- Misc action: Cock the gun
- Misc action when held down: Lock the chamber into open position
- Misc action when chamber is open: Close chamber
- Interaction: sights can be adjusted, attachments can be installed or taken off, stock can be adjusted, safety mechanisms can be activated or deactivated, magazine can be removed, sling can be put on or taken off.
Grenades:
- Primary action: Pull pin (safety lever will fly off and the grenade will be live)
- Primary action when held down: Pull pin and hold the safety lever down with your thumb for as long as the key is pressed.
- Primary action when pin has been pulled: Throw
- Secondary action: Throw
Blade weapons:
- Primary action: Stab attack
- Secondary action: Slash attack
- Primary action when in left hand: Slash attack

Control schemes:
Individual rounds (bullets, cartridges, etc.):
Bullets and cartridges are tiny items, this means that you can hold more than one of them in your hand at a time depending on how big the bullets or cartridges are. Each tiny item has a set maximum number that you can hold in your hand (Normal sized bullets will be about 4 or 5, shotgun cartridges max 3), when you go to grab them out of your inventory the game will do a skill check based on your character’s skill to determine how many you grab between 1 and the max.
- Primary action: None
- Primary action when holding with a matching weapon or magazine: Load into the weapon or magazine (You will continue to load rounds in while the button is held down, grabbing more from your inventory or a nearby supply)
Magazines:
- Primary action: None
- Primary action when holding with a matching gun: insert into the gun. (Any old mag will be detached and dropped on the ground)
- Misc action: Take rounds out (You will hold them with your other hand, put them in your pocket or throw them at somebody!)
- Misc action when dual wielding: Push rounds out with your thumb (They will fall on the ground)

As I have mentioned in other posts, everything in Redef is defined as items in the item system, this means even the things that you are wearing. you can take off or put on whatever you please in whatever combination you want. What gear you are wearing will ultimately determine how much your character can hold in his inventory, for example; you can’t carry a pistol without a holster, you cannot carry magazines or grenades without available pockets, etc. Eventually we plan to have everything all the way down to your underwear defined as items but we have to start somewhere so in early stages the base character will already be wearing a T-shirt, BDU pants, boots, and gloves. Initial gear items will include:
- BDU coat
- Balaclava (Face mask)
- MOLLE web vest
- With rifle and pistol mag pouches, Grenade pouches, radio holder, and knife sheath installed.
- Plate carrier for armor plates
- MOLLE web vest, Kevlar
- Same as above only it’s Kevlar
- Duty belt
- With dump pouch installed
- Drop leg pistol holster (Left and right handed versions)
